• In Chapter 3 Go Directly to Jail, Bluffbeard tells Chase McCain that he sunk the Ferry at the jetty behind the Police Station. It is possible it is the same Ferry he crashed into at the beginning of LEGO City Undercover.
• He is similar to the Sea Captain from the Minifigures theme.
• He is unlocked by building the superbuild Bluffbeard's Lighthouse in Paradise Sands.
