Bonehead,[1] also known as Skully,[2] is a Time Cruisers minifigure introduced in 1996.
Description
Bonehead is a generic skeleton, with the same white body, ball-jointed arms, and printed skull face as all other skeletons since their debut in 1995. While Bonehead has no distinguishing features, different images on the 6494 Mystic Mountain Time Lab box show this skeleton wearing various hats and accessories, such as a bright blue Mini U.S. Cap (borrowed from Tim Timebuster), or a black Morion Helmet (from Pirates) with transparent flourescent reddish-orange skiis (from Ice Planet 2002).
Background
Bonehead is an undead skeleton who resides in the Mystic Mountain Time Lab. Unlike fellow skeletons Boney and Time Twister, Bonehead is an ally of the Time Cruisers. This spooky skeleton is tasked with imprisoning time bandits,[1] which may retroactively refer to Rob N. Hood and the Time Twisters. Bonehead also sits in a barrel, which is blasted by the Cool Catapult into the past[2] or into space.[1]
Notes
- Bonehead's gender is never specified in official media, due to having a non-gendered name and never being referred to with pronouns.
- Bonehead was planned to appear in LEGO Racers, but was cut from the game.[3]
