Pre-2019 Design
Prior to 2019, LEGO.com had five main sections that could be found between the LEGO logo and the search bar. They read, from right to left: Home; Products; Games; Create & Share; Shop.
Home
The home page shows several advertisements for LEGO products, themes, sites, and games. Quicklinks can alo be found under the bottom sections. The front shows different site and game images related to LEGO.com. Below are links to the LEGOLAND site, legal rights, Parents and Teachers' information, an About Us section (Which includes a timeline of LEGO), and an online customer service line.

Products
Here are several images that link to LEGO subsites, such as Star Wars, Ninjago, City, and more. Besides these are links to products that have been recently put up for sale on LEGO.com, and most visited sites of LEGO.com.
Online Games
Here, the visitor can play one of the many LEGO games that have been created and put on the site. There are currently 75 games, a list can be found at Online Game.
This page has links to the LEGO Club Magazine site, LEGO Digital Designer, Galleries, My LEGO Network, and the Message Boards.
Shop
The shop area is where anyone with a LEGO ID may shop for any LEGO set currently available on the site. A list of sales and the most popular sold items may also be found, as well as reviews on several available sets. Besides official LEGO Stores, sets that may only be found at LEGO.com can be bought, and are tagged with an "exclusive" sign, as well as a "Hard to Find" sign for those only available at LEGO.com and certain stores.
Accounts
Users could create accounts on LEGO.com since the website's debut in 1996. The functionality of these accounts underwent major changes over time, beginning with making "Surfer Club" personal LEGO pages and receiving member-exclusive digital goodies, to later featuring profile avatars and having accounts associated with orders and rewards.
This appears when you confirm an order.
Current Design
Home/Shop
The current LEGO.com homepage is the shop section. Prior to accessing this homepage, the viewer must confirm that they are intending to access the shop, with a redirect page to the "Play Zone". The shop itself is the same as in prior designs.
From this section one can access About Us, VIP, Find a Store, and LEGO Life.
Play/Kids Zone
The Play Zone/ Kids Zone is the section on LEGO.com. intended for kids. It includes scrollable pages featuring videos, games, characters, and sets from recent themes. The user can choose the theme they wish to scroll through.
Accounts
Users can create and maintain accounts associated with online shopping orders and tracking rewards program benefits such as the former LEGO VIP and current LEGO Insiders program. Account profiles can also feature a minifigure avatar, available from a selection of premade options. Users are not able to customize these premade avatars to the same degree as the previous avatars from the 2003-2009 era.
Notes
- LEGO.com is one of the most visited toy sites in the world since its first launch on November 9, 1996.
