Libber[1] is a Ninjago minifigure first introduced in 2017 before being physically introduced in 2026. She is the biological mother of Jay, wife of Cliff Gordon, and Jay's predecessor as the Elemental Master of Lightning.
Description
She has the same hair as the Intergalactic Girl, and wore an outfit decorated with lightning patterns.
Background
Jay's mother took part in both the Serpentine Wars and the battles against Acronix and Krux, including the confrontation that resulted when the two former Elemental Masters traveled back in time to destroy the masters in the past. She was particularly disappointed by the event, as she had been anticipating going on her honeymoon, but was soon forced to fight for her life. Fortunately, due to the actions of Kai and Nya-who posed as their parents Ray and Maya-the Time Twins were forced to travel forward in time, leaving the past restored to normal.
In “Game Over”, Jay tells Unagami that his parents abandoned him, though he has no idea what prompted them to do so.

- As with many of Elemental Masters who fought alongside Sensei Wu and Garmadon, the name of Jay's mother was initially not known; in the show she was addressed as "Lightning" in the fashion of the Elemental Masters.
- Her fate has not been addressed in the show, so it is unknown what became of her after Jay was born; Cliff Gordon has not otherwise been indicated as having a wife, and Jay was left in the care of Ed and Edna Walker as an infant.
- Tommy Andreasen was the first to reveal her name as being Libber, but this didn’t appear in official material until Ninjago’s 15th Anniversary.
